Last updated: 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this website ("Site"), operated by Chicago Loan Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Service Description

Chicago Loan Connect is NOT a lender. We are not a direct lender. We are a matching service that connects borrowers with third-party lenders. We provide a free service to connect consumers with lenders who may offer short-term loans. We do not make credit decisions, set loan terms, or charge fees to consumers.

3. Not a Lender

We are not a direct lender. We are a matching service that connects borrowers with third-party lenders. The actual lender is responsible for all aspects of the loan, including the application process, approval, funding, and collections. Loan terms, including APR, fees, and repayment terms, are set solely by the lender.

4. No Guarantee of Approval

Submitting a loan request through our Site does not guarantee that you will be matched with a lender or approved for a loan. Approval is at the sole discretion of the lender and depends on the information you provide and the lender's underwriting criteria.

5. Credit Checks and Reporting

Submitting a request through our site does not guarantee approval. Participating lenders may perform credit checks with credit reporting bureaus to determine your eligibility. By submitting your information, you authorize lenders to verify your information and perform credit checks as permitted by law.

6. APR Disclosure

APR varies depending on the lender, your creditworthiness, and the loan term. For Illinois residents, the maximum APR allowed by law is 36%.

7. Financial Responsibility

Short-term loans should be used for short-term financial needs only, not as a long-term financial solution. Borrowers with credit difficulties should seek credit counseling. You are responsible for carefully reviewing the loan agreement provided by the lender before accepting any loan offer.

8. State Regulations

Loan availability, terms, and regulations vary by state. Not all lenders operate in all states. Illinois Residents: Under the Illinois Predatory Loan Prevention Act (PLPA), the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for all consumer loans is capped at 36%. Traditional short-term payday loans with triple-digit APRs are no longer legal in Illinois. The lenders in our network offer PLPA-compliant installment and personal loans.

9. Limitation of Liability

Chicago Loan Connect shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this Site or any loan obtained through a lender connected via our service. All information is provided "as is" without warranty.
